Coach Mark Larriba
Coach Larriba enters his 19th year with Flower Mound High School Jaguar Softball. He came to Flower Mound in the 2006-2007 school year becoming the Co-Head Coach in the 2007-2008.
He has coached for 30+ years, 20+ as head coach. Coach Larriba has over 325 wins at Flower Mound and 450 career high school wins. He was born in Prescott, Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. He played Men’s Major Fastpitch in Arizona and California for 15 years and was a part of the National Championship team in 1981.
Even though most of his life has involved softball, his priority is God and his family. Coach Larriba has participated in Coaches Outreach for years and will celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary in June. He and his wife Wendy have two daughters, Stephanie, and Tiffany. He credits his faith and family for making his life successful.

COACH ASHLEY MINICK

This is Coach Minick's 2nd year at Flower Mound High School and her 5th year coaching and teaching. She coaches basketball and softball while teaching Biology. Coach Minick attended Texas Tech University where she played softball all four years and earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She also earned Academic All-Big XII three years in a row.
Coach Minick started her coaching/teaching career at Colleyville Heritage where she taught Biology and coached volleyball and softball. While there, she assisted volleyball to the 4th and 5th round of playoffs and assisted softball to the 4th round of playoffs. After her time at Colleyville Heritage, Coach Minick coached Softball at Coppell High School.
Coach Minick graduated from Flower Mound High School and is excited to be back at her alma mater! At FMHS, she played softball and made lifelong friends. Her hobbies are traveling, reading, any water sport activity and being with her family.
This is Coach Blair's 3rd year at Flower Mound High School and her 8th year of coaching and teaching. She coaches both Basketball and Softball while teaching Geometry. Coach Blair graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce in 2013 where she played three years of basketball for the Lions. While at TAMU-C she earned her degree in Computer Information Systems. Before transferring to TAMU-C she played basketball for Kansas Wesleyan University.
Coach Blair is joining us from JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas. At JJP she coached Basketball Freshmen, JV, and her last 3 years as Varsity Assistant. While a varsity assistant at JJP she helped lead the varsity to 3 straight years of playoff appearances, which was a record for girls’ basketball at JJ Pearce. She also worked 3 years as the JV Softball coach where she also assisted the varsity to two second round appearances in playoffs. Before JJ Pearce, Coach Blair coached Basketball, Volleyball, and Track/Field for Woodville High School for two years. At Woodville, girls’ basketball competed in playoffs as did volleyball and Coach Blair had several track and field athletes compete at the regional level.
When not coaching or teaching, Coach Blair enjoys working on her house with her sister, playing games with her seven nieces and nephews, and enjoying lake time with her family.
COACH SARAH BLAIR
This is KB’s 20th year being involved with the Flower Mound Softball program. She had two daughters go through this program that helped shaped their lives in an incredibly positive way. She has been a Volunteer Coach for the last 10+ years.
She and her husband Jon have been married for 34 years. They have two girls, Alison, and Emilee. She was born in Laramie, Wyoming and moved all over the west as a child. She attended college at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado.
She feels blessed to be able to assist the team and coaches as this time is so very enjoyable for her. She loves to be with family and friends and watching sports.
